Naomi mentioned those words to be at her funeral.
“Not everything that glitters is gold” means:
Everybody was thinking that mom is a perfect amazing awesome person, in reality, she had many battles, she had her lowest points too. She wanted to show happiness, courage, but at home, there were many tears and confusion.
She prayed a lot, she read the bible a lot.
She wasn’t telling everybody her battles or expressing them. She talked to God and lots of time pretend nothing is going wrong on the outside to focus on other people and encourage others.
Everybody was thinking she is a golden person.
She had issues like everybody else.
She was struggling the most for 12 years of her sickness but she pushed hard, like a warrior.
